Meet Adam and Allison

Hi! We are Adam and Allison Mitchell. We are photographers based in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. I (Adam) am the one behind the camera and my wife Allison is the one keeping your experience light and fun. Growing up my dad was always behind a camera, and  I loved having pictures for all the big moments in my family's life. My love for photography skyrocketed when my parents gave us our first DSLR for our wedding in 2011. I love capturing memories for my own family and for others, that is why Allison and I started A Squared Moments together.

My wife Allison is the fun, energetic one. She makes everyone around her have a blast. Allison will be there to help keep a fun, relaxed environment for your session.

Our Photo Style

Bright, Colorful, Outdoor

To us there is no better place to take pictures than outside on a beautiful day! We love the bright, vivid colors you get with the outdoors. During the spring and summer we get to take advantage of the green leaves and blue sky. In the fall (our personal favorite) we love the reds, yellows, and oranges of the changing leaves. Even overcast days can be bright and colorful.

Fun

We love fun, playful photos. Allison’s spunky, high energy personality is perfect for helping you loosen up and have fun on your session. From families, to couples, to bridal parties we want to highlight your personality and fun side.

Loving

The reason we started A² Moments was because we love helping couples start their marriage the right way and let families show their love. For couples, including mom and dad on family sessions, we highlight and capture the love that you feel for each other. For families, even if your kids were fighting in the car, we will help show that they truly loving each other (bribing them with ice cream after the session certainly helps)!

Natural

It does not matter if you are stiff as a board or used to being in front of the camera, we will coach you into natural, comfortable poses.
